The United States Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) intends to solicit and award a five-year Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with an ordering ceiling of up to $5.65M, for the acquisition of the Eyepiece Lens Assembly, National Stock Number (NSN): 5855-01-433-7009, and Objective Lens Assembly, NSN: 5855-01-027-3621, as spare parts for AN/VVS-2(V). The guaranteed minimum, which will be met through the first delivery order, for this award is fi fty (50) Eyepiece and twenty-five (25) Objective Lens Assemblies. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The small business size standard is 500 employees for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333314. These requirements sha ll be manufactured using top drawing numbers SM-D-771327-2 and SM-D-771334-1. The associated drawings will be available by request.

The planned acquisition is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using Reverse Auction procedures, and the Solicitation nu mber will be W15P7T-08-B-M039. The solicitation will include configuration controls, updates to the drawings, and data items as required and will be posted on or about 11 April 2008 on the IBOP. First Article Test (FAT) is required. With FAT the Contrac tor shall deliver twenty-five (25) units, 240 days after the delivery order is placed and fifty (50) units per month thereafter until completion. Without FAT, the Contractor shall deliver twenty-five (25) units, 180 days after delivery order is placed and fifty (50) units per month thereafter until completion. Inspection and Acceptance will be at source and the FOB point is destination. Packaging and packing shall be in accordance with standard practices for commercial packaging. Some supplies may requi re Military Packaging depending on destination and intended use. Packaging requirements for those items will be provided with the delivery order. The anticipated posting date for the solicitation is 11 April 2008. The anticipated closing date is 11 May 2008.
