Art Voter is a Laboratory Fellow in group T-12 in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos. His research is focused on development and application of atomistic simulation methods for problems in chemistry, physics and materials science.

Research Interests:

Representative publications here

Brief introduction to accelerated dynamics methods

Simulation Graphics - movies from some recent applications.

Note of 9/07: Even though we have been doing exciting things with the accelerated dynamics methods, the publication and movie links have not been brought up to date for a while -- stay tuned and they will be soon.

Quicktime-Powerpoint presentations:

(these play automatically, or can be paused to advance frame by frame)

Introduction to accelerated dynamics (~0.5Mb)

Brief introduction to Hyperdynamics (~0.2Mb)

Parallel-replica dynamics (~1.4Mb)

Temperature-accelerated dynamics (TAD) (~2.7Mb)

Downloads:

clsmanview package (put this package in your home directory, gunzip and untar it, and see the README in the clsman directory it creates. Currently works on Mac OS X, Linux and 64-bit Linux architectures. LA-CC-04-079, last changed for real April 14, 2008)
