Investing in Youth

Excited children show off their newly repaired school. They are some of the 75,000 students who will benefit from renovated public schools.

WELCOME TO USAID | LEBANON

Side-by-side with the Lebanese people, the U.S. Agency for International Development works to bring hope and prosperity to Lebanon. This partnership between the people of America and Lebanon dates back to 1951, and continues in strength today.

The American people currently contribute $40 million a year to USAID’s programs in Lebanon. USAID invests those funds in five areas Lebanon has identified as priorities: creating jobs, investing in youth, protecting the environment, encouraging good governance and rebuilding Lebanon.
