Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP)

2009 Triennial Update

The Brookhaven National Laboratory Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) is prepared in accordance with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Order 450.1A (2008), Environmental Protection Program, which requires DOE facilities to develop environmental protection programs to ensure that operations fully comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations, as well as executive orders and DOE policies.

The plan is reviewed and revised annually, and a complete update is published triennially. Please refer any questions to Karen Ratel at ratel@bnl.gov
