There is a small fee for computer monitors only. 15" -$5. 17" - $8. 19" and up - $10. Everyone who brings in a monitor will receive a tote bag (while supplies last) and a 10% off coupon for a refurbished computer from Unitec. Unitec is also donating $1 of the fee for each monitor to the Friends of the Bellwood Library.

Customers and any other individuals concerned about the environment may drop off cardboard, polystyrene, appliances, and electronics with no appointment necessary. Please bring your recyclables to our freestanding building located just west of our main building. We charge the following fees to help offset storage, handling, and transportation costs: TVs over 32 inches--$30; TVs under 32 inch --$10; All computers, fax machines, VCRs, and DVD players--$5; Refrigerators--$29; Air Conditioners-- $15. Everything else is free to drop off, and we will make sure all equipment and materials are recycled properly.

There is also a mercury thermometer exchange and thermostats containing mercury are also accepted at no charge. HHW is collected at $2 per pound. Accushred will shred three (3) bankers boxes of documents at no charge and each additional box  of documents for $3 per box.
