I continue to hear murmurs that we will have trouble getting the Marubeni deal
done by year end. If this is true, then we need to implement an emergency
alternative immediately. Monetizing this project is CRITICAL to both Enron and

APACHI for the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, I am leaving tomorrow morning for
Australia and can't be the stimulus to see that something gets done in the next
several days. I need for the recipients of this note to get together and find a
solution if Marubeni is not going to get done. I can be reached Friday night
Houston time in Australia. Connie Blackwood will have my contact details. I
would like to have a conference call Friday, Saturday or Sunday to find out the
game plan. Then I would like to have a call at'least every other day to
determine status. No activity is any higher priority at this point.
