CORRECTION TO RELEASE 0308.99
USDA EXPANDS DAIRY OPTIONS PILOT PROGRAM

     WASHINGTON, July 29, 1999 USDA release 0308.99 announcing Round II of
the Dairy Options Pilot Program (DOPP) contained an error. 

     The fourth paragraph incorrectly stated the amount of milk producers are
encouraged to buy.  The sentence should have read, " Producers are encouraged
to buy up to 600,000 pounds of milk options in the 4 months following
training."
