Subject: trans fats

The FDA must look very closely at advertising in accordance with the issue of trans fats. I am very tired of hearing claims that something is heart health ( Wheaties, Take Control,  cold Quaker Oat Cereal, etc. ) -just to name a few--and find out they all contain trans fats. My husband has had a heart attack, and we have become so very aware of this problem, and how bad these fats are for you. Some thing has to be done!!!! These types of products are misleading in their ads. These products are not "heart healthy". A very small notice on the nutrition label will not do the trick either. The public needs to be educated.
