1. A system for controlling voltage in a non-volatile memory system, comprising:
a voltage regulator that monitors an output voltage (VDD) subject to a varying load current and a mirror voltage (Vmirror); and a control signal turns off a control transistor when the load current decreases below a threshold value, which prevents the voltage VDD to increase beyond a certain value.
