SECRETARY GLICKMAN TO ATTEND HOUSE AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE FIELD HEARING AND
TOUR KANSAS STATE FAIRGROUNDS


     WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 1999 -- Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
attend a House Agriculture Committee field hearing in Hutchinson, Kansas and
tour the Kansas State Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 18, 1999.  There will
be a brief media availability following the hearing.
