Showtime

  1. When the person doing the intro has reached the stage, simultaneously dim the House lights, and bring up the Scene lights that you determined during setup had the spotlights you needed. The spot should be bright enough to read notes by, but not overpoweringly bright.

  2. When the intro is complete, slowly lower the Scene lights to complete darkness.

  3. Start the movie.
If Sanyo projector has gone into the ‘sleep mode’ reset the projector by switching the Main power OFF/ON. There is a 30 second warm-up period.
Ensure movie is still at starting position, then start the movie.
  4. Lower the projection booth lighting
If using a flashlight, do not shine light through booth glass and watch out for stray beams.
Close all projection booth observation windows.
    Keep quiet.
After the Show
  1. During the credits, raise the House lights to bright enough so that people can see to leave, but dim enough so that it's possible to read the credits.
  2. Bring up House lights to full after the credits.

Projection Booth

  1. Sanyo Projector
Shut down the Sanyo Projector. On the top panel, push the ON/OFF button twice to turn off the power (or hold it down for a second?). The green light (front top left corner of unit) will turn off and the blue screen will fade out.

  2. Remove DVD or VCR from player.
  3. Sound board & rack
Turn off the sound board and rack by switching off the main power switch on the rack. It's the large red switch located at the upper right. This cuts power to all components, including the sound board.
  4. Return everything to "as found".
This includes the light board, carts, etc. Clean up after yourself.
  5. Cabinets
Lock up all cabinets (you'll have to wait for the refreshments people to put their gear in).

  6. Observation windows
    Close them.

  7. Projection booth lights
    Turn them off.

  8. Door
    Lock it after yourself.

Stage Area

  1. Backstage lights
Go to the left side of the stage, as you face it from the audience, and locate the backstage light switch. Turn this switch on, so you can see what you're doing.

  2. Return stage to "as found"
Put back everything you moved when you were setting up.

  3. Projection screen
Raise the projection screen if it was up when you arrived.

  4. Stage lighting panel

Push the square grey pushbutton to the upper right of the panel. The lighting panel should light up. The lights can now be adjusted from this panel. Gently lower all four grey-handled sliders to the bottom OFF position.
  5. Turn OFF the two bottom right breakers in the breaker panel. They are labeled appropriately enough, "LIGHTS".
  6. Turn OFF the backstage lights that you turned on in Step 1.

Auditorium

  1. Pick up any litter left behind by the audience.

  2. Ensure that the building is empty.

  3. Lock both sets of outer doors and return all keys to PNNL Security in the Control Room of the ROB, where you got them.
