Intergenerational Dissertation Support Group Listserv

For graduate students, working on a doctoral dissertation is a life challenge which becomes even more challenging when working in a new area for which the domain of inquiry is just taking form. Such is the case for “intergenerational studies.” The Intergenerational Dissertation Support Group listserv provides information, support, and encouragement for students who have chosen their doctoral-level dissertations on topics within the intergenerational field. This international group consists of doctoral-level graduate students, scholars, and other professionals with critical expertise in intergenerational studies-related subject matter.  Current graduate students in the group attend the University of Barcelona Spain, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, University of Hong Kong, Boston University, North Carolina State University, University of Delaware, Texas A&M University, Obirin Graduate School of International Studies Japan, and University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Scholars and other professionals supporting the group include faculty and leaders from North Carolina State University, Center for Intergenerational Learning-Temple University, University of Wisconsin-Extension, Generations United, Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Virginia Tech, Penn State University, University of Victoria, University of South Florida, National Taichung Teachers College-Taiwan, Generations Together, Elders Share The Arts-National Center for Creative Aging, Universidad de Granada Spain, National University of Singapore, and Texas Cooperative Extension.
