SUBJECT:  1998 Manual 13, Data Acceptance System (DAS) Handbook
          Slipsheets 

The 1998 Manual 13, Data Acceptance System and Reinsurance Accounting
System Handbook, has been updated to reflect year 2000 certification,
added calculations for NCS producers under the CRC plan, and other
changes for clarifications and corrections.  Included is a control chart
to explain which pages to remove and replace.

The entire 1998 handbook is maintained electronically via the Risk
Management Agency's (RMA) Home Pages in the Web Site in Word Perfect 6.1
format.  Companies and RMA field offices  may obtain either a zipped or
Word Perfect file to download and view or print.
