American Technologies 2004 Catalog Show, Almaty, Kazakhstan, July 14-16 The American Technologies Catalog Show is a showcase for introducing the most recent American technology to the Kazakhstani market. The show will highlight the latest telecommunications, computer, security, safety, process controls equipment and services. The U.S. Commercial Service in Almaty will receive and introduce participating American companies' literature to local prospects, subsequently providing a list of those trade leads which have expressed interest in further communication. Product Literature Center at IITELMIT 2004, Jakarta, July 28-31 IITELMIT--Indonesian International Telecommunication, Media and Information Technology http://www.iitelmit.com--is Indonesia’s most prominent ICT exhibition attracting: telecom carriers, mobile communication network and satellite operators, ISPs, Computer Hardware and Software Providers, IT engineering designers. IITELMIT 2003 attracted 175 exhibitors (45 % increase from 2002) from 40 countries and 30,000 trade visitors. California Trade Mission to the Russian Far East. Aug 1- 6, 2004. The U.S. Commercial Service in Vladivostok Russia, the Monterey Bay Export Assistance Center and the Monterey Bay International Trade Association - in addition to a handful of other Federal, State and City partners, have teamed up to form a special trade development mission to the Russian Far East. There is a growing demand for U.S. products in the region and there is a particular interest for these products in the rapidly developing cities of Vladivostok and Kahbarovsk – cities on the trade mission itinerary. Participats will meet with local government and business leaders, and will be given the opportunity to meet with Russian buyers, importers and distributors. Targeted sectors include: franchising, e-learning products, auto parts and equipment, health foods, California wines, beauty products, agricultural and food processing equipment, mining equipment, boat / ship building equipment and associated services, tourism, and environmental technology products. USA Pavilion at CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia, August 31-September 5, Istanbul, Turkey The Turkish ICT market is expected to reach $11.5 billion in 2004, with a growth rate of 13 %. Over 160,000 visitors and 850 exhibitors from 55 countries attended CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia last year. The U.S. Commercial Service in Turkey is offering the following package: furnished, turnkey booth, pre-arranged matchmaking meetings with prospective buyers and partners, bi-lingual pavilion management staff, conference rooms for private meetings, a reception for U.
