Abstract: (CIT): Representative members of NCI's extramural and intramural divisions have developed the 2001 STAT CHAT seminar series, a three-session series that focuses on describing the national cancer burden, interprets trends, and engages staff from all divisions in considering how these data and scientific advances at NCI might help direct and strengthen NCI's interdisciplinary research agenda. We have planned the seminars to be interactive and play a key role in determining gaps in knowledge and suggest major opportunities for addressing those gaps across divisions.
