Subject: [Dakota-users] problems running coliny algorithms

Dear all,

I have problems running coliny algorithms using test input files
delivered by Dakota.
e.g
in directory Dakota/test
 dakota -input dakota_coliny_p.in  

failed with this error:

Hi there,

I found the problem.. It was a line, which was deleted unintentionally
from the COLINOptimizer.H while trying to understand what's going on.

Hy,

 I have compiled the DAKOTA package on a XEON machine with the latest 
gfortran, ... on OPENSuse 10.3
 The compilitaion goes through without any noticeable problems.

 I  'make check' after that as in the described in the INSTALL file, and there 
is something happening for a long time (30 Minutes...) .
Then the 'make' hangs at the following point, where not even overnight 
anything happens:

make[5]: `BasicPerfTest_test.exe' is up to date.
make[5]: Leaving directory 
`/download/Dakota/packages/epetra/test/BasicPerfTest'
make[4]: Leaving directory 
`/download/Dakota/packages/epetra/test/BasicPerfTest'
make[4]: Entering directory `/download/Dakota/packages/epetra/test'
make  check-TESTS
make[5]: Entering directory `/download/Dakota/packages/epetra/test'


 Any ideas ??
 Do you need further information on compiler OS... ?
