Garuda Indonesia President Director, Emirsyah Satar, announced Monday that Garuda Indoensia’s profit in the first nine months of 2007 jumped 150% to Rp 218 billion (US$24 million) from the same period last year when it suffered a los of Rp 436 billion.  This profit was the result of the company’s programs to restructure its routes, keep down operating costs and make maximum use of planes. - http://www.thejakartapost.com 10/31/07
