Enteromorpha

Enteromorpha complex of mixed E. prolifera, E. compressa and E. linza and Codium fragile is also cultivated but the production is quite low (Sohn 1998). In 1997, production of the Enteromorpha complex was 7,749 tons (wet wt.) and that of C. fragile was less 1 ton. Also Capsosiphon fulvescens is the newly introduced culture species in the Korean seaweed cultivation (Hwang et al. 2003).
