SNOWPACK SYNOPSIS Mild fair weather the past few days has produced stable firm surface crust layers in most areas. SUNDAY AND MONDAY Fair weather should continue Sunday and Monday. This should cause little change in stable firm surface crusts in most areas. Some softening of surface snow should be seen on steeper south slopes during the midday and afternoon hours. Be sure to use extra caution or make you own assessment if condition seem different than expected. && Backcountry travelers should be aware that elevation and geographic distinctions are approximate and that a transition zone between dangers exists.
