This Web resource provides data and information relevant to the four
species of malaria that infect rodents, Plasmodium berghei, P.
chabaudi, P. yoelii, and P. vinckei. These species are
used as model systems for the study of P. falciparum, the parasite
responsible for the most serious form of human malaria. Updates to the
Web pages will occur on a regular basis as information becomes available.
We hope that compilation of relevant genetic and genomic information on
these rodent malaria Web pages will provide a valuable resource for those
in the malaria research field.
