Fwd: New Staff at GUV Center

As you may have read in last week's Monday Memo, BNL's Guest, User, &
Visitor Center (aka GUV Center) is slated to open on July 16.  In
preparation for that opening I would like to introduce the new
employees of the GUV Center.  The primary responsibilities of the GUV
Center employees will be in administering and checking-in guests,
users, and visitors to the Laboratory.  I'm pleased to welcome:



Katherine McCabe who joined the GUV Center on May 21 from the clerical
pool.  She has been working with the RHIC & AGS Users' Center staff
for the past six months on tasks required for the opening of the GUV
Center.



Sally Swain joined the GUV Center on June 11.  She is a new member of
the BNL family.  She joins us from the Public Relations Department at
East End Hospice where she has worked for the past three years.



Linda Rundlett joined the GUV Center on June 25.  She has been working
at BNL since 1988 spending most of her career in the Human Resources
Benefits Office.



Ildiko Orlando also joined the BNL staff on June 25.  She comes to BNL
with a background in business administration and experience as a
founder and President of Full House in Hungary.  She will be working
at the GUV Center until January.



Regina Robinson, currently an employee of the RHIC & AGS Users'
Center, has moved administratively from the Users' Center to the GUV
Center.  Regina will continue in her role of administering guest
appointments for the RHIC, AGS, Tandem, ATF, NSRL, and ATLAS user
facilities and continue her role in guest reception.





Angela Melocoton and Kelly Guiffreda will continue their role in the
RHIC & AGS Users' Center.  They will be wearing two hats for a while
as their major role during the upcoming months will be in the training
and development of the GUV Center staff.  I ask that you bear with us
as we make this transition.



I invite you to visit the GUV Center and introduce yourself to its new
staff.  We have a new telephone number.  Please feel free to call us
