Programs watched at home include almost exclusively PBS Programs (Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Barney, Mr. Rogers) Most sitcoms/family programs portray parents as stupid and children as rude and arrogant. I have no wish for my child to imitate such behavior. I also expect my child to learn manners and acceptable behavior and to respect her parents and other adults.I would like the media to be less sensational and more factual. I would like to see more programs promoting family (and not just Mom, Pop and Kids either) oriented material with less violence and graphic portrayal of sex. Programs that encouracge laughter and learning are good, those promoting disrespect, poor expression of thoughts and violence are NOT. ------------------------------------------------------------ Server protocol: HTTP/1.0 Remote host: Remote IP address: 199.237.129.250
