Documentation Errata in Version 2.0:

The Host API function PlxIntrAttach() should not be used to attach a DMA event to very small block DMA transfers. It is recommended that this function be used to attach an event for transfer sizes greater than 1000 bytes. Transfer sizes smaller than 1000 bytes do not require event signaling as they are virtually instantaneous;
The reset algorithm in PLXMon 98 and PLXLdr 98 assume that either a PCI 9080RDK-860 or PCI 9080RDK-401B is the currently selected device.

PCI SDK v1.2.2 Release Notes

Features:

The device drivers and API have been modified to support simultaneous use of multiple RDKs and applications. Users can now launch more than one SDK application and connect to different RDKs.
PLXMon 98, a Graphical User Interface (GUI) version of PLXMon 97, is included in the <InstallPath>/bin directory. Refer to <InstallPath>/documentation/PLXMon98.pdf for more information.
Support for the PCI 9080RDK-860 evaluation board has been added to the Host and IOP software.
This release now supports 3 reference design kits: PCI 9080RDK-401, PCI 9080RDK-960, and PCI 9080RDK-860.
Full PCI 9080RDK-860 support for both the Host and IOP software.
PLXLdr can now program the PCI 9080RDK-401 FLASH using the '-f' command.
All versions of PLXRom now support the PLX I₂O SDK

Problems with Installation

You may experience difficulties using this HTML page to install the PCI SDK software with Netscape products because the appropriate setup.exe file can not be directly launched from Netscape browsers. If this problem occurs, you may alternatively install the software using the Install.exe application that is contained in the root directory of this CD.
