Second - road shows - these should be open to the public and in fact broadcast on the internet or audio on the phone. There's no reason for individuals to be shut out of the information flow of these events, especially with the vigor of current IPO markets and the substantial risk that individual investors have when they buy in at inflated opening prices - usually well above the IPO price.
