\\hqsms1\wininstall$\progra~1\comman~1\f-prot~1\kill f-agent

F-Prot Virus Protection v3.01 has been installed. To reset your system files, you will need to close all applications, and then reboot your machine. If you have any questions, call the NASA HQ Help Desk at 358-HELP.

PLEASE SHUT DOWN ALL PROGRAMS AND REBOOT NOW.

  1. To avoid the problem of WinINSTALL Discover throwing out registry keys with zero-length binary values as unimportant, manually edit the .REG file and add/edit the following key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Command Software\F-PROT32\Preferences\Extensions]

"*"=hex(0):

"*.*"=hex(0):

  1. To avoid the problem of .DLL's not being updated until after a cold-boot, manually edit the .REG file and add/edit the following key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\control\Shutdown]

"SetupProgramRan"=dword:00000001

  1. To avoid various problems caused by multiple users logging onto a PC, manually edit the .REG file and copy all of the HKEY_CURRENT_USER parameters to HKEY_USERS\.Default.
