MID-ATLANTIC AREA:
     
     Greenboro District - reports 275, 276, 277 ZIP Code Areas still have 
     some unsafe and inaccessible roads.  However, the district will 
     attempt all deliveries today.  Temperatures are expected to reach only 
     32 degrees with clear skies.
     
     Mid-Carolinas District - reports much improvement with most roadways 
     in passable condition.  
     
     Richmond District - reports all stations are up and running but icy 
     roads may hamper delivery to some areas.
     
     
     NORTHEAST AREA:
     
     Per Northeast Area Delivery, there were no major impacts on delivery in the 
     Northeast Area due to weather conditions for STA A Mail.  The only impact 
     was to Pref Mail (First Class) at SCF Southern CT which affected delivery 
     ZIPs in New Canaan CT 06840 and Ridgeway CT 06905. Carriers attempted to 
     deliver the mail but due to unsafe conditions caused by the weather, had to 
     return mail to the delivery unit.
