IMPROVED BRIGHT PINK
(T.V. Munson Nurs., Denison, TX. Cat. p. 13. 1921-1922, without descr.).

IMPROVED CORDON BLEAU
(Greenleaf Nurs. Co. , El Campo , TX . 23:1990-91): L. indica “Dixie Series”. Lavender purple; miniature; weeping; 2-3 ft. height and up to 4 ft. spread. Pat. Pend.
= CORDON BLEU, CORDON BLUE, LOUISA.

INGLESIDE PINK
(Ingleside Plantation Nurs., Oak Grove , VA. Cat. p. 19. 1964): Plant tends to be shrubby; specimen to 20 ft.; fls. clear pink, persistent bloomer throughout summer and fall. Hardy zone 7. Orig. as an old locally grown selection discovered and intro. in early 1960's by Carl F. Flemer, Jr., Oak Grove , VA. Name registered April 30, 1974.

INGLESIDE WHITE
(Ingleside Plantation Nurs., Oak Grove , VA. Cat. p. 37. 1966-67): Plant leggy shrub, specimen to 25 ft.; fls. white. Hardy zone 7. Orig. as an old locally grown selection discovered and intro. in 1966 by Carl F. Flemer, Jr., Oak Grove , VA. Name registered April 30, 1974.

INTERMEDIA
(S. Percy-Lancaster, Proc. & Jour. Agr. Hort. Soc. India. p. 20. 1920): Fls. pale pink, large infl.

ISSAI-SARUSUBERI
(Katsuo, Kiyoshi, Plant Patent, U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Sept. 1, 1992. P.P. #7957): Information derived from background information given for Plant Patent 7957. The pollen parent, ISSAI-SARUSUBERI, is a well-known and popular crape-myrtle plant and is under no protection, such as a patent or plant variety protection certificate. Tree-Performance: upright. (hill spread)/tree height) ratio: 0.43. Tree form: obovoid. Tree height (cm): Shrub (130.0). Branching Habit: sparse. (number of branches on a main trunk): 4.4. Number of inflorescences per one cluster: little-3.5. Number of flowers per one inflorescence: medium-26.0. Petal color: vivid red purple (JHS Color Chart 9507) or RHS Colour Chart 71B.
