GLICKMAN TO SPEAK AT SECOND HARVEST CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO

     WASHINGTON, June 6, 1996--Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will
speak to the Second Harvest National Conference Monday, June 10 in suburban
Chicago.

     Glickman's remarks will begin at 9 a.m. at the Marriott Lincolnshire
Resort in Lincolnshire, IL.

     Second Harvest is the nation's largest domestic hunger-relief charity. 
The network's food bank distribution centers serve more than 50,000 non-profit agencies in te 50 states and Puerto Rico.
