Comments=City Brewing Company is opposed to mandatory inclusion of additional information on alcoholic beverage labels.  The cost to the producer and packager of applying such information on labels far exceeds any public benefit to be derived therefrom.  TTB should allow voluntary statement of alcoholic content on malt beverage labels under uniform standards regarding type size and placement.  TTB should not allow alcohol content statements by way of standard drink sizes because such information is inherently misleading.  TTB should not allow voluntary statements regarding nutritional benefits of alcoholic beverages because they are inherently misleading and conflict with the mandatory warning now required on labels.
