Tacoma will vie with Spokane in welcoming the guests. Any person, whether delegate or visitor to the convention, may travel on the "Suffrage Special" by securing this privilege from Miss Anthony, who will accompany this party.
RAILROAD RATES
Low-rate round-trip tickets will be sold from practically all points in the United States to Seattle and return, the rate from Chicago being $62.00. At this rate the return trip may be made without extra charge via the Northern Pacific through St. Paul or Billings, via the Great Northern or via the Canadian Pacific, or via Portland and the Oregon Short Line through Salt Lake City and Denver. For $15.00 additional the return trip may be made via California with the choice of a variety of routes eastward therefrom. Stopovers are allowed at all points en route west of Chicago or St. Louis within the final limit of the ticket-October 31. The rates from points east of Chicago will be made by the addition of approximately one and one-half of the one-way fare from starting point to Chicago to the $62 rate therefrom. On such tickets, stop-overs will also be permitted going or returning at Chicago and at St. Louis should tickets read via that point.
Those joining the party should purchase through round-trip tickets from original starting point, being sure to specify in detail to the local agent at starting point the entire route selected, but more particularly the route which all will take tor the going trip i. e., Burlington Route Chicago to St. Paul, Northern Pacific St. Paul to Seattle, or to Portland via Seattle, if one expects to visit Porland after the convention, and thence via such return route as may be selected.
SLEEPING CAR RATES AND BERTH RESERVATIONS
The sleeping car rate for berth in standard sleeper from Chicago to Spokane and on the Suffrage Special from Spokane to Seattle will be $14.50 on the schedules shown aove. Bert in the tourist sleeper will cost just one-ha  this amount; where two
