Dear Dr. Henney:

I have seen several reports lately about the overuse of antibiotics in 
agriculture leading to the emergence of untreatable diseases in people. 
Though I realize your time in office may be short, immediate action is 
needed to establish a system for gathering reliable data on antibiotic use 
in agriculture so that a national strategy can be developed for dealing with 
this growing problem.

Please establish such a reporting system to determine the quantity of 
antibiotics used in U.S. agriculture.
