The whitefly collection is located in Room 018, Building 005, BARC-West, Beltsville, MD. It is one of the world's best collections of whiteflies, with over 32,000 microscope slide-mounts representing more tha 1,000 species. The collection includes more than 300 primary types, and there is also an extensive collection of dry preserved material.

There is currently no SEL specialist covering this group, but Louise M. Russell (retired; resident Research Associate) works with the collection. Loan requests may be addressed to Douglass R. Miller.

The Aleyrodidae collection was built principally through the efforts of A. C. Baker, A. L. Quaintance and L. M. Russell.
