On March 12, 2008 in the hotel Aleksandar Palace in Skopje, the magazine Kapital organized a business conference on Corporate Governance. The conference was sponsored by USAID BEA.

The conference consisted of three panels, accordingly:

- Corporate Governance (CG) trends
- Transparency - The backbone of Corporate Governance
- Why and how much is Corporate Governance important for the investors
USAID completes the project that helped over 40 victims of human trafficking find their way back to normal life   Speakers at the event were experts from the Corporate Governance area, such as: Professor Goran Koevski, Samir Latif, Leonardo Peklar, Olli Vartanan etc.
