SITUATION

At 0600 UTC Tropical Cyclone Billy was located to within 15 nautical miles of

 latitude fifteen decimal five south (15.5S)

 longitude one hundred and thirteen decimal zero east (113.0E)

Recent movement : near stationary

Maximum winds   : 35 knots

Central pressure: 992 hPa



AREA AFFECTED

Within 50 nautical miles in eastern quadrants extending to within 80 nautical

miles in western quadrants.



FORECAST

Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre easing to 30 knots by 1200 28

December.

Until 1200 UTC winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles eastern quadrants

extending to within 80 nautical miles in western quadrants, rough to very rough

seas and moderate swell.

Forecast positions

At 1800 UTC 28 December: Within 45 nautical miles of 16.0 south 112.8 east 

                        Central pressure 994 hPa.

                        Winds to 30 knots near centre.
