Do we have to have 2 monitors per operatory?


Two monitors in each operatory is recommended but not required. If your operatory set up allows only one monitor in each operatory (e.g., in older buildings), it is important to make sure the monitor can be seen easily by the patient when necessary, and by the dental staff. We are finding that the monitor at the foot of the patient chair works best for displaying images during treatment and is used almost exclusively as compared to the monitor at the 12 o’clock module.
