Description/Abstract The emission of a charged filament when a moving diffuse interface between media is incident on it is analyzed for the cases when the filament has the shape of a helical line or a sinusoid.^Expressions are obtained for the spectral and angular distributions of radiant energy.^The emission spectrum is analyzed in detail.^It is shown that a spectral maximum is present at high frequencies for relativistic interfaces.
