Abstract: Areas of Concern for the Chattanooga Creek flood plain displayed as polylines and polygons. This project is in conjunction between the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and EPA. These files are a representation of land use change ranging from 1935 to 1994. This particular data set is for the year 1935. Definitions for key codes are as follows: Chatt_Creek.shp depicts Chattanooga Creek for the listed year ; CS.shp depicts coal storage areas ; DA.shp depicts disposal areas ; DK.shp depicts dark toned areas ; DK_LT_M.shp depicts dark toned, light toned, material areas ; DK_M.shp depict dark toned material area ; GS.shp depict ground scars ; HT.shp depicts horizontal tanks ; IM.shp depict impoundment areas ; IM_BF.shp depict impoundment building foundations ; LT_M.shp depict light toned material areas ; NE_tributary.shp depicts the northeast tributary flowing into Chattanooga Creek ; NW_tributary.shp depicts the northwest tributary flowing into Chattanooga Creek ; SK.shp depict stacks ; ST.shp depict storage tanks SW_flow_trib.shp depicts a southwest water flow tributary WT.shp depict water tanks
