Grade Inflation: 91% of Harvard Students Graduate With Honors
Recommended by: Overeducated, Alienated Pale White Boy
Harvard's dirty little secret: Since the Vietnam era, rampant grade inflation has made its top prize for students - graduating with honors - virtually meaningless.

Bombing of Afghanistan illegal?
Recommended by: Spoiled European Intellectual
Michael Mandel, a professor of law at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, notes that the attack on Afghanistan is illegal according to international law. Does that mean we're only interested in international law if it suits our purposes? Have we really not learned anything from the history of the 20th Century? Any "But we had to strike back at those bastards!" counts as a "no".

Second Detection of the Anthrax Virus!
Recommended by: Modern Poverty
So, no anthrax in 25 years and no they find it twice in 2 weeks. Perhaps it's time to hire a new janitorial service at that office building, b/c there's no way Im going with the old bioterrorism theory.

How Will Teleportation Work?
Recommended by: Overeducated, Alienated Pale White Boy
Teleportation involves dematerializing an object at one point, and sending the details of that object's precise atomic configuration to another location, where it will be reconstructed.

Here is a thought-provoking article by Arundhati Roy. Patriots won't like this, of course. However, Mrs Roy has many interesting points to make.
