SUMMARY: Portfolio issued on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the cornerstone laying ceremony for the construction of the Hermannsdenkmal monument near Detmold, Germany. Contains reproduction of a portrait of sculptor Ernst von Bandel posing with a hand section of the Hermannsdenkmal and a reproduction of Wilelm Heine's etching of Christian Dietrich Grabbe, German dramatist born at Detmold, who wrote the drama "Hermannschlacht".
