Research Interests

Biology and phylogeny of the Milichiidae and Carnidae (Diptera, Schizophora) and phylogeny of the superfamily Carnoidea. Current projects include: Milichiinae in Dominican amber, new genus of Milichiidae from Borneo, master database on Milichiidae and Carnidae, new species of Trupanea (Diptera, Tephritidae) together with A. Freidberg, Tel Aviv.

Responsibilities

BioSystematic Database of World Diptera (BDWD). Acts as executive manager of BDWD and handles day to day activities and communications with team members and other organisations.
