~ Individuals With Disabilities ~

At Kennedy Space Center we foster a workplace that respects and appreciates diversity, and believe it cultivates a talented workforce enriched by diversity and inclusion.

During your tenure at Kennedy you can attend meetings with Kennedy’s Disability Awareness and Action Working Group. The DAAWG is an advisory group to the Center Director on matters relating to employees with disabilities as well as a resource to the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity, and other directorates.

The DAAWG is an effective advocate for hiring individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans, enhancing awareness of their capabilities and value throughout Kennedy, removing barriers that hinder employees from working at their full potential, and providing a forum for discussion and resolution of issues concerning individuals with disabilities.

If you have a disability and need special accommodations, please contact your Program administrator.
