Date: 03/21/2000 7:17 PM Subject: Proposed Regulation FD Chairman Levitt, I applaud you and the SEC in pursuing the proposed Regulation FD. With more and more individual investors taking part in our nations economic expansion, the insidious insider information is hurting the people who built this country and pay its taxes. The number of companies, large and small, that provide information to Wall Street professionals first before full disclosure to the public at large is patently unfair. I hope the SEC vigorously pursues correcting this unfair advantage given to analysts. In this day of advanced technological capabilities there is no reason for companies to hold closed-door meetings to provide inside information to the exculsion of individual investors. I urge you to adopt the proposed Regulation FD, and make American business truly open for all Americans. Taylor E. Mack, Ph.D. Individual Investor PO Box 5448 Mississippi State, MS 39762
