1.5.9. Test "jumpstation" feature and contextual help on Data Search And Order Form

  1. Click on the Back to the Main Data Search Page link at the top of the Data Granule ID Search form. The form should change to the Data Search And Order form.


[Top] Check contextual help on "Select: Parameter" page and verify that jumpstation works

  1. Click on the Parameter icon. The Dependent Valids (Selection: Parameter applet comes up.

  2. Click the Help link at the lower left of the page. Specific help on how to use the Select: Parameter page should come up (in a separate browser window if you use Java). If you have Java, close the new browser window. If not, click the browser's back button to return.

  3. Click on the parameter in the scrolling list at the top of the Select: Parameter page (BRIGHTNESS TEMPERATURE as of 7/16/97).

  4. Change the Go to pull-down menu to Other Criteria....

  5. Scroll back up and click OK!. The Select: Other Criteria page should be shown.

  1. Click the Help link at the lower left of the page. Specific help on how to use the Select: Other Criteria page should come up. Click the browser's back button to return.

  2. Select CLOUD COVER and click EDIT criteria for .... You should see the "Select: Cloud Cover" form.

  3. Enter 100 in the text box.

  4. Change the Go to pull-down menu to Campaign and click OK!. The Select: Campaign page should be shown.


[Top] Verify "Select: Campaign" contextual help and make sure jumpstation works

  1. Click the Help link at the lower left of the page. Specific help on how to use the Select: Campaign page should come up (in a separate browser window if you use Java). If you have Java, close the new browser window. If not, click the browser's back button to return.

  2. Click the All button. All the campaigns should be selected.

  3. Change "Campaign" (upper left corner of applet) to Processing Level. The Processing Level valids should be shown.

  4. Click All. All of the processing levels should be selected.


[Top] Return to main search screen and verify that selections worked; run search

  1. Click OK!. You should be back at the Data Search And Order Screen with the following items defined:

  2. Click Start Search!. The search should complete in less than a minute. If you have any granules, you will see: Results: Data Search and Order Results.
