The autostrada depends upon bridges and tunnels along the steep coastline in the vicinity of Taormina.

Our GeoVenture ended with an Alitalia flight from Catania to Rome where we said goodbye to all our new friends. We plan to explore the Grand Canyon on a Geological Society GeoTrip in 1998. More later...
