The Nature of "Unmanaged Recreation" and Collaborative Travel Planning in Colorado's Front Range: A Panel Discussion

Abstract
This seminar will begin with a brief presentation on some of the issues surrounding "unmanaged recreation", which has been described as a major threat to the health of United States National Forests. We will discuss the nature of the issue and explore implications for how to address the problem relative to the Forest Service's new planning rule for route designation and management of motorized recreation.
