Description/Abstract | An energy analysis of the HIF power plant ``HIBLIC-I`` is crudely carried out.^In the present analysis, the required input energies for the driver system and reactor cavities are calculated on the basis of energy intensities for the component materials, while those for other subsystems, such as turbine plant equipment and thermal conversion equipment, which are mostly similar to or in common with the usual fission power plants, are taken from the energy analyses for LWR power plants.^As the result of the present study, we obtain an energy ratio for HIBLIC-I of 16.2 for the plant lifetime of 30 years. |
