Summary
The Harvard Forest environmental measurement site is part of the AmeriFlux network of field research projects quantifying the exchange of carbon dioxide between terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere. The Harvard Forest Hydrocarbon database contains approximately 29,000 hourly measurements for twenty different hydrocarbon species (ethane, ethene, ... etc.) from 1992 through 1995. CDIAC re-processed the data the data to conform to naming conventions and data reporting standards agreed to be the AmeriFlux Science Team. The files contain timestamps relative to January 1990 to facilitate future integration and synthesis of data across the entire AmeriFlux network. Hydrocarbon data from the Harvard Forest Ameriflux site is available directly from CDIAC at: http://cdiac.esd.ornl.gov/programs/ameriflux/ More information on the Harvard Forest Environmental Site is available from: http://www-as.harvard.edu/chemistry/hf/index.html
