Meritorious Promotions

Col Gobar, the Chief of Staff of Marine Corps University, congratulates Corporal Roman Morales Jr. for being meritoriously promoted to the rank of corporal on December 2, 2003.  To be meritoriously promoted to corporal Marines must first be hand picked by their superiors, then participate in the meritorious corporal board process.  The board members select the Marine that demonstrates the highest degree of military professionalism, bearing, knowledge and appearance.  Among this group of quality Marines the board members selected Corporal Morales.
