From: CRGR@aol.com Sent: Friday, September 01, 2006 8:11 PM To: Dockets, FDA Subject: Docket Number 2006N-0352 Dear Mr. Adjodha FDA's current (outrageous) positions include: (1) it's OK for dentists to deceive consumers by calling them "silver fillings"; (2) it's fine for pro-mercury dentists to implant mercury in pregnant women and children; (3) mercury fillings are safe because they've been used for over 100 years; and (4) A.D.A. dentists, not scientists, are the proper source of information on whether mercury harms a child's brain, an adult's kidney, or an unborn child. The FDA's positions are robbing people of quality of life and causing millions to suffer. I for one was diagnosed with lupus until I got my fillings out 8 years ago and recovered--I went from debilitated, lying in bed and unable to even open the mail, being highly mercury toxic, to highly productive with no autoimmune symptoms once the mercaury was removed. What I have come to realize is that many, many people suffer all kinds of chronic illnesses not realizing the underlying problem is actually impairment of the body's regulations systems because of mercury and other heavy metals, which leads to imbalances and diseases of all kinds. I hope you dont have to get deathly sick yourself to realize this reality and instead start looking at the compelling science on the toxicity of mercury now. Be courageous. Be visionary. Mercury toxicity is impacting people everywhere, including in prisons and mental hospitals. Hold your values for integrity and service to the world close and act from there, or suffer the ethical consequences. We are all born to be healthy and free. Dont enslave yourself to a position filled with fallacies out of fear that perhaps you would not have a job, or be able to find another job, unless you towed the party line of the ADA, supporting something that is unethical and gravely dangerous to the citizens of your country. Allow the science on the toxicity of mercury to hold sway. Thank you for your integrity. Sincerly, Camilla Rees 405 Davis Ct. #1908 San Francisco, CA 94111
