Lawmakers to consider novel subsistence proposal
PLAN: Task force scheme would offer priority both to rural and select urban groups.

A new approach to subsistence, allowing fishing and hunting priorities to select urban Alaskans as well as rural residents, will be proposed to the Legislature under a plan tentatively approved by a Knowles administration task force Tuesday.
